Frozen City

The inspiration was from a city I saw from the movie,The Pianist. There was a destroyed city covered with snow. I used the technique people used for matte painting to do this painting. The buildings are from some pictures I found on the internet. I learned this from the Gnomon Workshop DVD. I just wanted to give it a try. So I didn't do a lot on the details, just tried to capture the moment and atmosphere.
